Renaissance Ventures is based in Fargo, North Dakota. We look for good projects and help bring the people, resources and financing together to move them forward.
Our approach combines creative thinking with practical execution. That can include identifying local, state and federal economic development incentives alongside other sources of capital.
Our Roots
The original Renaissance Ventures fund started in 1999. It grew to a $5 million venture capital fund. Over its life it made more than ten investments.
Today's Renaissance Ventures is a new company that carries that spirit forward.
How We Invest
Project by project
Most of our investing happens at the project level. Investors can look at a specific opportunity and decide whether it fits them.
Company-level interest
Investing in Renaissance Ventures itself may also be possible. We are glad to talk it through.
Thoughtful structure
We take care to put the right agreements in place before admitting investors to any project.

Leadership
Renaissance Ventures is led by Art Rosenberg. Art managed the original Renaissance Ventures, a $5 million venture capital fund, for years. He also sold $4.9 million in tax credits for NDSU's Renaissance Hall renovation.
His role is to help solve the hard problems, make informed decisions and turn a good idea into action.
